Let’s make a comparison. That is an AR-15 with a bayonet. The other is a stick with a bayonet. They want to ban the lug that attaches it to the gun. Why? I can take the same knife and attach it to the stick with some wire and make a more effective melee weapon.
The Best Way to Destroy Person Freedoms…
is to have the families of dead children behind you when you sign the law.
I bet they will get a pen that the President used.
Title: Whitehouse Petition Calls For Obama To Disarm Americans.
The petition created on the White House’s “We the People” site has surpassed 155,000 electronic signatures. The threshold has been met for the Obama administration to review the request.
This will be a repeat of Obama care. Were most people don’t want it but we will get it any way. Regardless if the way they get is is legal or just or ethical or not. Along with a good chance after this congress I could see signing the small arms ban treaty from the U.N. Nothing good will come from this.
Nigel Farage on council racism towards forster family and UKIP (24Nov12) (by liarpoliticians)
Yup, if you have the wrong political views you can’t have kids. How much longer before this spreads to childbirth? The next question, when will this spread to us here in the USA? This is big goverment and big brother at work.

Are Drone Strikes and Kill Lists The New Normal? Q&A w Newsweek’s Eli Lake (by ReasonTV)
Disturbed by extra-constitutional U.S. drone strikes in countries such as Yemen and Pakistan? Presidential “kill lists” of suspected terrorists and security threats raise endless ethical and constitutional concerns?
A decade-plus after the 9/11 attacks and the launching of a vaguely defined and expansive global “war on terror”, Americans are grappling with appalling revelations that the president claims the right, without any sort of judicial or legislative review or approval, to assassinate individuals (even American citizens) and groups he believes are national security threats.
Reason’s Nick Gillespie talks with Eli Lake, the senior national security correspondent for The Daily Beast/Newsweek (and an occasional Reason contributor) and discusses the effects of technological developments and power grabs by both President George W. Bush and Barack Obama on military action.
Lake believes that a tentative consensus has formed around the use of drone strikes and targeted killings. “I think there’s a much better chance, if libertarians are worried about it,” he says, “of introducing some sort of oversight…and some degree of transparency in that process than it is to say we can’t do it.”

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is a United States federal law which, among other things, allows individuals who are merely “suspected” of sympathizing with or providing any level of support to groups the U.S. designates as terrorist organization or an affiliate or associated force to be imprisoned without charge or trial “until the end of hostilities.”
…effectively suspending due process and habeas corpus, as well as other rights guaranteed by the 5th and 6th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, and allowing indefinite detention by the US military, without even being ACCUSED of a crime.
