A group who has no oversight. We did not vote them in. They can pass any laws the want on the internet. ACTA came out of the WTO. The WTO is a U.N. organization. If the UN controlled the internet we have no recourse on ACTA. We would be stuck with no internet freedoms. They could also control free speech and other liberties we know in the USA.

Cop Abuses 68 Year Old Injured Woman For Not Speaking English, Fractures Her Elbow, Calls Her Stupid
Plaintiffs Teresa Cervantes and her husband, Guadalupe, were driving through Merced County on Highway 33 south of Santa Nella after visiting their grandchildren when deputies pulled them over, according to the lawsuit. It alleges that the deputies yelled at Teresa Cervantes, 68, through their vehicle’s loudspeaker, calling her “stupid.”
One of the deputies then ordered her out of the car despite requests from Teresa Cervantes to put on a brace she needs because of an injury to her foot, according to the lawsuit.
A deputy then grabbed Teresa Cervantes’ arm, twisted it behind her and leaned on her, according to the court filing, which says Cervantes was later issued a citation for speeding.
There wasn’t any altercation that led to the use of force by the deputy, but it’s likely that Teresa Cervantes’ inability to speak English was at the root of the issue, Scheele said.
“I believe he gave her some instructions,” he said. “She was trying to explain to him that she had an injured ankle and that she could not get out of her car. He then twisted her arm up behind her back and fractured her elbow.”
The injuries Teresa Cervantes suffered could be long-lasting because of her age, Scheele said. “Someone with this type of injury at this age I don’t believe is ever going to make a 100 percent recovery,” he said.

The high price of the California bullet train: Its proposed route would destroy churches, schools, homes, warehouses, banks, medical offices, stores and much more.
Whether the Central Valley can force significant changes in the bullet train plan is unclear. Up and down the valley, people know they are not playing with a strong political hand.
“Some people will say they screwed a bunch of farmers in Kings County. So who cares?” said Frank Oliveira, a farmer. “The answer is they will screw you too when it comes to your neighborhood.”

No, you would give me the same parroted line I hear 100 times a day, “Thank you for your service”. When I hear some flabby couch potato like you say that to me it makes me sick. Yes, I serve our country, but our wars do not.
I do my best to keep my men alive while we carry out this sick policy of sticking our noses in other people’s business. When was the last time you had a friend die in your arms or looked for the leg that was just blown off of the man next to you? When was the last time you walked past dead children that were killed by U.S. weapons? I’m glad you can sleep at night, because many times I cannot. I have children myself you self righteous SOB. If someone killed my children you can bet I would do everything in my power to seek revenge.
You call me rabid and blind? I know what I am talking about. Why don’t you grab a gun and head to Iran if you want to fight them so much. Ron Paul is right. They are no threat to us. We need to mind our own business. They hate us not because we are rich and free, they hate us because we are in their countries.
It is people like you that are the biggest threat to this country, not Iran.
