DHS Advising Local Police Department’s of General Economic Collapse by the end of April.
The source for this was an officer at the briefing. The police department was located in the Midwest and the city has a population of around 300,000.
DHS advised select PD brass that they were expecting a total economic collapse as early as the end of April. They suggested departments stock up on supplies, including that individual officers keep supplies of non-perishable foods should the need arise.
The officer also mentioned that a firearms confiscation protocol would be used and BATFE would assist via dissemination of ATF form 3310.4 data as well other info gathered from gun show surveillance.
The officer was previously clueless to any of this and is basically just your typical PD bureaucrat. He was surprised that these instructions were being issued.
I, however, am not surprised. Even a cursory look at U.S. and world economic data, as well as the fact that a chunk of the world’s billionaires are dumping blue chip stocks such as P&G, tells me we are toast economically. Looks like DHS is finally getting ready for SHTF day in earnest.
This is the kind of fear mongering speculation that doesn’t help anybody. I’ll put money on it not being true.
DHS Reviews Policy of Searching Laptops at the Border, Pronounces it Swell
U.S. Customs and Border Protection types are notoriously grabby when it comes to electronic devices at the border. That is to say, if you have a widget, they like to see what’s on it. Graduate student Pascal Abidor is suing the federales after an unfortunate run-in on his return from that notorious haven of french fries served with gravy and cheese known as Canada to our beloved United States. Abidor was detained for several hours after officials poked through his laptop and found photographs of Muslims. David House is also suing after a similar searchtriggered, apparently, by his support for Bradley Manning. Recently, the Department of Homeland Security’s own in-house protector of all things civil rights-y and civil liberties-ish examined the policy of searching electronics at the border, and pronounced it good.
In a Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Impact Assessment of border searches of electronic devices, reviewing official Tamara Kessler writes (PDF):
The overall authority to conduct border searches without suspicion or warrant is clear and long-standing, and courts have not treated searches of electronic devices any differently than searches of other objects. We conclude that CBP’s and ICE’s current border search policies comply with the Fourth Amendment. We also conclude that imposing a requirement that officers have reasonable suspicion in order to conduct a border search of an electronic device would be operationally harmful without concomitant civil rights/civil liberties benefits. However, we do think that recording more information about why searches are performed would help managers and leadership supervise the use of border search authority, and this is what we recommended; CBP has agreed and has implemented this change beginning in FY2012.
The report also “did not find evidence that searches were prompted by the ethnicity of travelers” and that “the laptop border searches allowed under the ICE and CBP Directives do not violate travelers’ First Amendment rights.”
In response to concerns over border agents’ habit of retaining electronic devices annd searching them at their leisure, say over a span of months — a practice that drew a rebuke from a federal judge — Ms. Kessler writes, “[c]urrent policies ensure reasonable efforts at promptness and, accordingly, we do not believe that setting specific time limits is necessary.”

However, evidence indicates that, not only is the majority of terrorism, “false flag,” but that creating and curing the “disease of terrorism,” has become one of the biggest rackets in the world.The Case against the FBI
Trevor Aaronson’s exhaustive investigative work on the FBI role in creating terrorism, The Terror Factory has exposed, not just manufactured “false flag terror,” but opens the door to investigation of many other organizations as well, some operating around the world.
Inside the US, as Aaronson notes, the FBI spends $3.3 billion per year running at minimum, 15,000 informants.
According to Aaronson, however, the FBI’s “counter-terrorist informant” total may exceed 45,000, most not “on the books,” and unaccountable. Many are, in fact criminals, cooperating with authorities to avoid prison or to be allowed to continue their criminal enterprises, some unfettered by law enforcement, many in full partnership.
Some are informants but many are recruiters, tasked with infiltrating Islamic organizations, Mosques, and Islamic communities across America.
Typically their targets are the mentally ill, often diagnosed schizophrenics, people unable to distinguish reality from the dream world.
Others are feeble minded, homeless, those easily influenced.
As Aaronson describes in his book, informants actually recruit terror cells, taking on the role of “cell commander.” They organize and train, supply funds and equipment, preach radical philosophies and bizarre interpretations of Islam and, eventually, choose targets, supply bombs and weapons and arrange for dramatic terrorist arrests, carefully staged for the evening news.
There have been, as of 2011, over 500 of such cases across the United States.
Aaronson describes the FBI’s methodology in a 2011 Mother Jones article:
“Here’s how it works: Informants report to their handlers on people who have, say, made statements sympathizing with terrorists. Those names are then cross-referenced with existing intelligence data, such as immigration and criminal records. FBI agents may then assign an undercover operative to approach the target by posing as a radical. Sometimes the operative will propose a plot, provide explosives, even lead the target in a fake oath to Al Qaeda. Once enough incriminating information has been gathered, there’s an arrest-and a press conference announcing another foiled plot.
If this sounds vaguely familiar, it’s because such sting operations are a fixture in the headlines. Remember the Washington Metro bombing plot? The New York subway plot? The guys who planned to blow up the Sears Tower? The teenager seeking to bomb a Portland Christmas tree lighting? Each of those plots, and dozens more across the nation, was led by an FBI asset.”
Since 9/11, there have been hundreds of arrests of “terrorist suspects” and 158 prosecutions. Of all the reported “major terror plots,” only three can’t be directly tied to terror suspects who were directly recruited, trained and supplied by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Truth is, we also have questions about the other three.
In one recent case, a Mosque reported a terrorist recruiter to the FBI. The recruiter was FBI.
As for the army of informants, most are paid up to $100,000 either “per head” or “per case,” for the terrorists they themselves recruited, too often those profiled as unable to care for themselves, much less hatch complex paramilitary operations.
Thus, we see that COINTELPRO operations, the long discredited program that ran for nearly 50 years organizing church and synagogue burnings, lynchings, bombings and assassinations through infiltration of “radical groups,” often anti-war or civil rights organizations, have not only continued but expanded to the point they are, in fact, the primary function of the FBI.
Then again, the Department of Homeland Security has its own program, even larger, even more funding and far less oversight. Only one of their functions has been scrutinized, Operation Fast and Furious.
There they supplied thousands of military weapons to criminal groups operating throughout Mexico and the United States. What else might they be doing?
The US government doesn’t have a monopoly on false flag terrorism.

The numbers subjected to this methodology are in the tens of thousands. “Prisoner X” was one.
The goals are broader and in each case fall under the “one, two punch” of 1) Control and Destabilization and, 2) Collapse and Balkanization.
Toward this end, once powerful democracies become surrogate thugs, sending armies across the world to secure oil and minerals, to protect drug and human trafficking operations and to push, literally, hundreds of billions of dollars into bogus military contracts.
We only have to look at a single week of news, new espionage (phone hacking) arrests in Britain and the outlandish shutdown of the US government by Israel to prevent the nomination of Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense.
The Smell of “False Flag”
An early “pre-9/11” act of terrorism was the Oklahoma City bombing. We are told that Timothy McVeigh, a former “affiliate” of the Michigan Militia and former US Army Ranger was responsible.
However, we also have reliable information that McVeigh approached the Michigan Militia as an FBI informant. In fact, almost nothing involving the Oklahoma City bombing seems to fit.
Not only did McVeigh not “act alone,” but we have evidence of active support and assistance from the FBI and direct testimony that ties Mike Harari, Mossad Operations Chief, to the OKC bombing. During his repeated attempts to recruit former Soviet nuclear weapons specialist, Dimitri Khalezov, Harari was very vocal about his roles in Oklahoma City, Bali and other bombings.
Harari was a high-level operational manager. However, there are other classes of operative, each devastating in their own way. Author Jeff Gates describes the two classes of operatives used:
“Agents are fully conscious of the intended goal of an operation. Intent is what distinguishes premeditated murder from involuntary manslaughter. Culpability is gauged by the state of mind. Agents operate with what the law calls extreme malice and an “evil mind.” Thus the severity of the sanctions for premeditated capital crimes.
Assets are people profiled such that – within an acceptable range of probabilities – they can be relied upon to behave consistent with their personality profile. Assets lack the state of mind required for traditional culpability due to their lack of intent. Assets contribute to an operation simply by pursuing their subconscious personal needs. Typically those needs are for recognition, influence, money, sex, drugs or the greatest drug of all: ideology.”
John Friend writes more on the specifics of how, not just espionage and political influence can cripple a nation like the US, but how false flag terror cells and deaths squads may operate with impunity:
“First off, it’s important to understand a bit about how intelligence agencies work, specifically the Israeli Mossad, and how their operations are conducted. I would highly recommend Victor Ostrovsky’s book, By Way of Deception, that details the inner workings of the Mossad by a former katsa, or an intelligence officer of the Mossad.
The role of sayanim, or Jewish volunteer helpers, is vital in most, if not all, Mossad operations, especially in regards to 9/11. Sayanim are Jews living in the diaspora (i.e., not Israel) who are called upon to offer their assistance in order to facilitate a covert operation. These operations can and do deeply parallel those of COINTELPRO and the FBI’s more threatening current terror recruiting.
It isn’t just the US government that recruits terror cells inside the US, that profiles killers from among the mentally ill or arranges for “patsies” to be found at scenes of mass killings, always dull-eyed, drugged, mentally ill or conveniently dead.

February 19, 2013A provider of “realistic” shooting targets to the Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies has created a line of “non-traditional threat” targets that include pregnant women, mothers in playgrounds and elderly American gun owners.
Law Enforcement Targets, Inc. is a 21-year designer and full service provider of training targets for the DHS, the Justice Department and thousands of law enforcement agencies throughout the country.
The company’s website offers a line of “No More Hesitation” targets ”designed to give officers the experience of dealing with deadly force shooting scenarios with subjects that are not the norm during training.” The targets are, “meant to help the transition for officers who are faced with these highly unusual targets for the first time.”
The targets include “pregnant woman threat,” “older man with shotgun,” “older man in home with shotgun,” “older woman with gun,” “young school aged girl,” “young mother on playground,” and “little boy with real gun.”
Why are top training target suppliers for the government supplying the likes of the DHS with “non-traditional threat” targets of children, pregnant women, mothers in playgrounds, and elderly American gun owners unless there is a demand for such items?
This is particularly alarming given the fact that the Department of Homeland Security has purchased roughly 2 billion rounds of ammunition over the course of the last year, enough to wage a near 30 year war.
In comparison, during the height of active battle operations in Iraq, US soldiers used 5.5 million rounds of ammunition a month.
The DHS also purchased no less than 7,000 fully automatic assault rifles last September, labeling them “Personal Defense Weapons.”
The fact that targets of armed pregnant women, children, mothers in playgrounds, and American gun owners in general are being represented as “non traditional threats” “for the first time” is deeply concerning given the admitted preparations for civil unrest undertaken by Homeland Security as well as other federal agencies.
A leaked US Army Military Police training manual for “Civil Disturbance Operations” also outlines how military assets are to be used domestically to quell riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans on U.S. soil during mass civil unrest.
This also dovetails with the continuing characterization of Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists by DHS-funded studies.
The US military trained last year to take on another “unusual target” – zombies – which some fear is just a ruse to get troops used to engaging crowds of people with deadly force. As Alex Jones documented in his film Police State 2000, numerous “urban warfare” training drills stretching back well over a decade have revolved around incarcerating and battling the American people on domestic soil.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which secures the nation’s border, in 2009 announced that it would conduct a “Civil Liberties Impact Assessment” of its suspicionless search-and-seizure policy pertaining to electronic devices “within 120 days.” More than three years later, the DHS office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties published a two-page executive summary of its findings.
“We also conclude that imposing a requirement that officers have reasonable suspicion in order to conduct a border search of an electronic device would be operationally harmful without concomitant civil rights/civil liberties benefits,” the executive summary said.
The memo highlights the friction between today’s reality that electronic devices have become virtual extensions of ourselves housing everything from e-mail to instant-message chats to photos and our papers and effects — juxtaposed against the government’s stated quest for national security.
The President George W. Bush administration first announced the suspicionless, electronics search rules in 2008. The President Barack Obama administration followed up with virtually the same rules a year later. Between 2008 and 2010, 6,500 persons had their electronic devices searched along the U.S. border, according to DHS data.
According to legal precedent, the Fourth Amendment — the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures — does not apply along the border. By the way, the government contends the Fourth-Amendment-Free Zone stretches 100 miles inland from the nation’s actual border.

The document also lists a requirement for 1.6 million pistol cartridge 9mm ball bullets (40 quantities of 40,000 rounds).
An approximation of how many rounds of ammunition the DHS has now secured over the last 10 months stands at around 1.625 billion. Such massive quantities of ammo purchases have stoked fears that the agency is preparing for some kind of domestic unrest. In 2011, Department of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano directed Immigration and Customs Enforcement to prepare for a mass influx of immigrants into the United States, calling for the plan to deal with the “shelter” and “processing” of large numbers of people.
The federal agency’s primary concern is now centered around thwarting “homegrown terrorism,” but information produced and used by the DHS to train its personnel routinely equates conservative political ideology with domestic extremism.
A study funded by the Department of Homeland Security that was leaked last year characterizes Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists.
In August 2012, the DHS censored information relating to the amount of bullets purchased by the federal agency on behalf of Immigration & Customs Enforcement, citing an “unusual and compelling urgency” to acquire the bullets, noting that there is a shortage of bullets which is threatening a situation that could cause “substantial safety issues for the government” should law enforcement officials not be adequately armed.
As we highlighted last month, the DHS’ previous ammunition solicitation was awarded to Evian Group, an organization that was formed just five days before the announcement of the solicitation and appeared to be little more than a front organization since it didn’t have a genuine physical address, a website, or even a phone number.
While Americans are being browbeaten with rhetoric about the necessity to give up semi-automatic firearms in the name of preventing school shootings, the federal government is arming itself to the teeth with both ammunition and guns. Last September, the DHS purchased no less than 7,000 fully automatic assault rifles, labeling them “Personal Defense Weapons.”

Jesse Jackson Calls on DHS to Patrol Chicago Due to Gun Violence
Civil rights leader Jesse Jackson and relatives of victims of fatal shootings in Chicago urged President Barack Obama on Saturday to come back to his hometown and address the gun violence plaguing the city.
Before a march on the city’s South Side, Jackson, a former Democratic presidential candidate, said America’s third most populous city needed more help than Mayor Rahm Emanuel and police superintendent Garry McCarthy could offer.
“When the president shows up, it shows ultimate national seriousness,” said Jackson, a Chicago resident. He also called for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to help patrol the streets of Chicago.

Options for Consideration Active Shooter Training Video
In an instructional short film titled “Options for Consideration Active Shooter Training Video,” various methods are prescribed for decreasing a prospective mass murderer’s body count, should one find themselves in the extremely unlikely scenario of an active shooter situation.
The training video starts by listing some of the recent mass murders and an assassination attempt, noting, “In most cases there is no pattern or method to their selection of victims. Active shooter situations are unpredictable and evolve quickly.”
According to the video, your options during this type of crisis are to either: a) run out of the building, b) find cover from gunfire, c) try to conceal yourself from view (and hope the gunman doesn’t find you), or d) “if you’re caught out in the open and cannot conceal yourself or take cover,” the instructional recommends considering overpowering the shooter “with whatever means are available,” as a hand in the video reaches into a drawer for a pair of scissors.
To be clear, the active shooter described is probably not looking to make snowflake cut-outs for a third grade art project, and, to the best of our knowledge, isn’t looking to engage you in a literal game of rock, paper, scissors. No, this is supposedly a real-life scenario where you are taking your life in your own hands, and yet the best method of defending yourself isn’t even mentioned: guns.
The video does offer some bang-up tips, but most are so commonsensical anyone with an IQ over 80 would likely not benefit from them.
In another example of just how out-of-touch with reality the DHS really is, last July they, along with the city of Houston, released a video in which shooters were to be dealt with by means of an improvised weapon, notably a fire extinguisher.

In a video titled, “Run, Hide, Fight,” the same active shooter scenario is described this time specifically taking place in an office building.
In similar fashion to the latest video, the “Run, Hide, Fight” instructional recommends running and hiding as the first options to be considered, and as a last resort, one should grab a fire extinguisher, or other “improvised weapon.”
As Kurt Nimmo correctly stated, “If potential victims, however, were armed and trained in the proper use of firearms, ineffectual ‘improvised weapons’ would not be necessary.”
On Thursday’s edition of the Alex Jones Show, Infowars writer and editor Paul Watson pointed out the irony in the DHS’ recommendation of scissors and other makeshift weapons for public defense, while the agency itself is busy acquiring some 7,000 assault rifles for “personal defense.”
The Obama administration’s insane push to curtail gun rights in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook school shooting relies on propaganda videos like these to convince the public that there are alternative methods to defend one’s self besides firearms, but as the old adage goes, “You don’t bring scissors (or a fire extinguisher) to a gun fight.”
