Liberty Tumblr. ⒶⓋ⚔: Sheriff Joe to Congress: Investigate Obama's eligibility

antinwo:

[“We]  announced that we had concluded that there was probable cause that forgery and fraud had been committed in respect of two documents: 1) the long-form or original birth certificate computer image presented by Mr. Obama, which contained multiple errors and anomalies, many of them serious and: 2) the selective-service document for Mr. Obama, which contained a two-digit year-stamp. This was contrary to specifications issued by federal regulations to the effect that the year of issue should be expressed as four digits on the stamp, and also contrary to any other selective-service registration document that we had been able to examine,” Zullo wrote in his affidavit to the Alabama court.

The result of the evidence, he said, is one conclusion.

“Accordingly, Sheriff Arpaio continues to recommend that the Congress of the United States open an immediate investigation, including the appointment of a select committee, as regards to the authenticity of Mr. Obama’s documentation, whether any crimes have been committed, and to determine Mr. Obama’s eligibility for the office of president of the United States,” he said.

Infowars: Rep. Mike Rogers pushed for FBI chief

infowarsdotcom:

thehill.com
May 7, 2013

A group representing more than 12,000 FBI agents is urging President Obama to nominate Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) as the bureau’s next director.

The FBI Agents Association said Rogers — a former FBI agent and chairman of the House Intelligence Committee — would be the perfect candidate to replace Director Robert Mueller when his term expires in September.

“Chairman Rogers exemplifies the principles that should be possessed by the next FBI director,” said the group’s president, Konrad Motyka.

Infowars: White House Refuses To Address Questions On Benghazi Stand Down Order

infowarsdotcom:

State Department Refuses To Answer Questions About Whistleblower Testimony

Steve Watson
Infowars.com
May 7, 2013

In a remarkable exchange Monday, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney failed to directly address questions regarding explosive claims by a whistleblower that US Special forces personnel were ordered to stand down as the attack on the US embassy was taking place.

During a press conference, the senior White House correspondent for Fox News Channel, Ed Henry pressed Carney on the issue, stating:

“Why is Greg Hicks, who was the number two to Ambassador Stevens, now going to tell the Congress and the American people that there were US special forces who were in Tripoli, ready to board a plane, come to Benghazi to help these Americans, and they were told to stand down?”

In several attempts to dodge the question, Carney referred Henry to The Department of Defense, stating “I don’t have access to the interviews that I think have been referred to and some of the news reports.”

“Hicks is challenging the credibility of the White House,” Henry persisted. “You don’t care about what he’s saying? Do you think he’s lying?”

“You’re citing an interview that I don’t have.” Carney again claimed, adding that the official narrative has been corroborated by the Accountability Review Board and White House officials.

Watch the video:

As several mainstream reports have detailed, Hicks has stated that following the murder of Ambassador Stevens, and while the attack on the American embassy was still ongoing, “The Libyan military agreed to fly their C-130 to Benghazi and carry additional personnel to Benghazi as reinforcements.”

Hicks claims that as a specials ops team was about to board the plane, they received a phone call from Special Operations Command Africa saying, “you can’t go now; you don’t have authority to go now.”

“They were told not to board the flight, so they missed it.” Hicks said. In the hours that passed afterward, three more American diplomats were killed by the attackers in a hail of bullets, rocket-propelled grenades and mortars.

Hicks’ claims directly contradict those of the Obama administration, which has stated that all personnel at every point in the chain of command were engaged in providing help, and that “There were no orders to anybody to stand down in providing support.”

Hicks’ claims came in a pre testimony interview, portions of which were leaked ahead of Wednesday’s hearing, possibly in order to protect him. Hicks is also quoted as saying that he believed the incident was a terrorist attack from the outset. “I think everybody in the mission thought it was a terrorist attack from the beginning.” Hicks said.

He also stated that he finds it astounding that White House officials have directly contradicted Libyan President Mohammed Magariaf, who told CBS the same day that the attack was “preplanned, predetermined” by militants with ties to al Qaeda.

“The net impact of what has transpired is the spokesperson of the most powerful country in the world has basically said that the President of Libya is either a liar or doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The impact of that is immeasurable.” Hicks is quoted as saying.

In a separate press briefing Monday, at the State Department, spokesman Patrick Ventrell also refused to directly answer questions relating to Hicks, and Mark Thompson, another State Department official also set to testify in Congress on Wednesday.

“Before we get to the specifics of what they’re expected to testify, I wonder if you could provide us with your assessment of the caliber of these two individuals,” James Rosen of Fox News asked Ventrell. “Are they credible? They’ve been working at fairly senior posts here and abroad for years and years. I wonder first what thoughts the Department has about the caliber of these two individuals.”

Ventrell repeatedly responded that he was not in a position to “assess” the witnesses:

VIDEO

Ventrell also refused to directly answer a question posed by a CNS News reporter, who asked exactly who within the administration was responsible for telling then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that the attack in Benghazi was being justified as “a response to inflammatory material posted on Internet.”

The claim appeared in Clinton’s written “Statement on the Attack in Benghazi” released in the 10:00 p.m. hour Washington, D.C. time on the day of the attack. Ventrell repeated the same empty claims as Carney that the ARB has thoroughly reviewed the issue:

Infowars: White House releases Benghazi emails, seeks to defuse controversy

infowarsdotcom:

Jeff Mason

May 16, 2013

The White House on Wednesday sought to defuse controversy over its handling of last year’s killing of four Americans in Benghazi, releasing emails that show how Obama administration officials presented a scrubbed-down version of the attacks to the public.

The documents gave a glimpse into the administration’s message control as officials carefully debated via email which details U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice should highlight when she went on talk shows five days later to discuss the September 11 assault on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.

There was little in the roughly 100 pages of emails about Rice’s “talking points” that had not been leaked previously.

Infowars: Why a government-orchestrated distraction event is highly likely to occur in the next 7 days

infowarsdotcom:

False Flag-O-Meter reaches the red zone

Mike Adams
NaturalNews
May 12, 2013

This is a short but urgent warning: A false flag event, an act of war, a bombing or some other headlines-grabbing orchestrated event is very likely to occur in the next seven days precisely because the Obama administration is under intense fire right now and needs a quick distraction. In stage magic, it’s called the “art of misdirection.” In politics, it’s called the “Clinton method.”

This is exactly what Bill Clinton did over and over again during his administration: Any time he was about to be raked over the coals for some political scandal, he would simply order the bombing of another “terrorist factory” somewhere around the globe. Magically, the Clinton News Network (CNN) would shift coverage to this heroic act of “national defense” and stop asking questions about his scandal back at home. That would give the Clinton administration enough time to intimidate, threaten or murder whoever might have been involved. (Vince Foster, remember?)

Right now, Hilary Clinton and President Obama are facing the possible downfall of their political careers over the Benghazi cover-up. Thanks to recent testimony, we now know that the Obama administration actually ordered the stand-down of U.S. military forces, directly causing the death of a U.S. ambassador as well as those in the embassy who attempted to save his life.

This is a scandal many times more explosive than Watergate. As the Benghazi investigation unfolds, it may very well end up in the forced resignation of Obama himself.

“Greenlighting” a pre-planned operation

To avoid that from happening, Clinton, Obama and all the other globalist minions in Washington D.C. are trying to figure out what false flag scheme they have ready to go right now. They desperately need to pull the trigger on something: a bombing, a mass shooting, a hundred dead kids bleeding out on public sidewalks or something that can distract the media (and the public) from asking too many questions on Benghazi.

Hence the red zone of the False Flag-O-Meter. It’s now sitting in very dangerous territory, and the worse the scrutiny gets over Benghazi or the recent revelations that the IRS targeted conservative groups and Jews for punitive scrutiny during the 2012 elections, the more likely a false flag event becomes.

Just so you understand real history here, false flags are the primary way governments affect sweeping policy changes. They are acts of political theater played out for the purpose of causing enough real mayhem and carnage — and blaming the right culprits — so that the public will demand government action. This plays right into the hands of government which incessantly wants to concentrate power and destroy civil liberties. Every crisis that unfolds allows it to move one step closer to its goal of dictatorial police state control.

Watch for a major event in the next 7 days

Understanding this, there is a high probability of a false flag event occurring within the next seven days: A staged terror attack on a U.S. embassy, a shooting on U.S. soil, a bombing of a government building, someone blowing up a bridge… anything to get the attention off Benghazi-gate.

FBI agents are no doubt scurrying across the country right this very minute, taking inventory of all their pre-planned terror plots and trying to determine which one they can make “real” at short notice. The FBI, in case you didn’t know, openly plots and carries out terror attacks all across the USA in order to show that it’s “stopping terrorism.” This has been confirmed by the New York Times, which rarely admits anything true about terror plots.

Whatever it is, this false flag event needs to be visually and emotionally shocking. So expect children to be sacrificed as part of it. Nothing grabs headlines on CNN faster than the blood of children, and that’s what Hilary Clinton needs right now more than anything else: a powerful, revolting distraction from her own abject criminality.

And believe me, these people would order a thousand children killed if it was necessary to save their political careers. Have no illusions about the kind of power-addicted monsters who are running the U.S. government today. There is nothing they won’t do to weasel out of being caught in a devastating lie.

I hope I’m totally wrong about this prediction, but just in case you may want to be extra vigilant for the next week or so, and if something does happen, don’t believe the White House narrative which is almost 100% guaranteed to be complete fiction.

Senate Foreign Relations Chairman Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) on Monday introduced a bill that would provide arms to vetted rebel groups.

Menendez’s legislation would give arms and military training to opposition groups that had been vetted, as well as provide $250 million for basic services and security in a post-Assad Syria.

The bill also includes new sanctions against those providing arms or oil to Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime.

Infowars: DOJ Wants More for Prisons Than U.S. Security

infowarsdotcom:

Courthouse News
April 11, 2013

President Obama’s proposed 2014 budget for the Department of Justice will spend $4.1 billion more on prisons than on “national security,” the Justice Department revealed Wednesday.

Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday released the proposed 2014 budget for the Department of Justice: $27.6 billion – $1.6 billion less than the FY 2013 Justice budget, due to sequestration.

President Obama’s proposal for the Justice Department is up 3 percent from the FY 2012 proposal, but less than this year’s budget, the Department of Justice said in a statement.

According to the Justice Department statement, the proposal includes:

$8.5 billion for federal prisons and detention;
$4.4 billion for national security;
$395.1 million for (undefined) protection from gun violence;
$92.6 million enhancement for cyber security;
$55 million increase for investigating and prosecuting financial and mortgage fraud;
$25 million increase for immigration enforcement;
$258.6 million for civil rights;
$2.3 billion in assistance to state, local and tribal law enforcement;
$561.4 million in federal program offsets and rescissions.

Holder called the last item “efficiencies,” required by the budget sequestration.

Obama: “I Am Constrained by the System Our Founders Put in Place”

President lambasts Americans who cite Second Amendment as a defense against government tyranny

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
April 5, 2013

During a speech in Denver, Colorado, President Obama remarked that his gun control agenda was “constrained by the system our founders put in place,” as he lambasted Second Amendment advocates who argue that gun ownership is a means of protection against government tyranny.

“Opponents of some of these common-sense laws have ginned up fears among responsible gun owners that have nothing to do with what’s being proposed and nothing to do with the facts, but feeds into this suspicion about government,” said Obama.

“You hear some of these quotes: “I need a gun to protect myself from the government.” “We can’t do background checks because the government is going to come take my guns away.”

“Well, the government is us. These officials are elected by you. They are elected by you. I am elected by you. I am constrained, as they are constrained, by a system that our Founders put in place. It’s a government of and by and for the people.”

At first glance, Obama’s admission that his actions are constrained by the authors of the Constitution is a seemingly glib nod to safeguards ensured by the bill of rights and the Second Amendment. However, when placed in a more sinister context, the quote could also be interpreted as a complaint that a President who in January introduced 23 executive orders to address “gun violence reduction” should be given an even greater free reign to take a bite out of gun rights.

Recall that back in July 2011 during a speech on immigration, Obama lamented that, “doing things on my own” (becoming a dictator) was “very tempting”.

Obama also remarked, “I am not a dictator” during the sequester debate in early March.

As Infowars has documented, Obama has flagrantly violated the Constitution in all manner of different ways, from undermining the power of Congress (an act of high treason according to Congressman Walter Jones) by insisting his authority came from the United Nations Security Council prior to the attack on Libya and that Congressional approval was not necessary, to accepting rotating status as chairman of the United Nations Security Council, which is a direct violation of article 1, section 9, clause 8 of the Constitution.

During his speech yesterday, Obama also stated, “There doesn’t have to be a conflict between protecting our citizens and protecting our Second Amendment rights.”

Obama’s insistence that his gun control agenda does not infringe on the Second Amendment is not a view shared by over a dozen Colorado Sheriffs who held a press conference to coincide with the President’s visit to the state earlier this week.

One of those Sheriffs, Elbert County’s Shayne Heap, subsequently released a YouTube video in which he slammed Obama for using “fear” to exploit recent tragedies in pursuit of curtailing the right to bear arms.

Heap accused Obama of working to, “legislatively carpet bomb law-abiding citizens with excessive restrictions,” by introducing gun control regulations that punish lawful citizens while failing to address the wider issue of violence in American society.

Newly passed laws in Colorado prohibit the sale of magazines which hold more than 15 bullets, in addition to mandating background checks for all private gun sales.

Infowars: Are You A Teenager Who Reads News Online? According to the DOJ, You May Be a Criminal

infowarsdotcom:

Dave Maass and Trevor Timm
EFF.org
April 3, 2013

During his first term, President Barack Obama declared October 2009 to be “National Information Literacy Awareness Month,” emphasizing that, for students, learning to navigate the online world is as important a skill as reading, writing and arithmetic. It was a move that echoed his predecessor’s strong support of global literacy—such as reading newspapers—most notably through First Lady Laura Bush’s advocacy.

Yet, disturbingly, the Departments of Justice (DOJ) of both the Bush and Obama administrations have embraced an expansive interpretation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) that would literally make it a crime for many kids to read the news online. And it’s the main reason why the law must be reformed.

Photo by AngryJulieMonday , via Wikimedia Commons

As we’ve explained previously, in multiple cases the DOJ has taken the position that a violation of a website’s Terms of Service or an employer’s Terms of Use policy can be treated as a criminal act. And the House Judiciary Committee has floated a proposal that makes the DOJ’s position law, making it a crime to access a website for any “impermissible purpose.” For a number of reasons, including the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, many news sites have terms of service that prohibit minors from using their interactive services and sometimes even visiting their websites.

Take, for example, the Hearst Corporation’s family of publications. If you read the terms of use for theHouston Chronicle, the San Francisco Chronicle, or Popular Mechanics websites, you’ll find this language, screamed in all-caps:

“YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR USE THE COVERED SITES OR ACCEPT THE AGREEMENT IF YOU ARE NOT AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.”

In the DOJ’s world, this means anyone under 18 who reads a Hearst newspaper online could hypothetically face jail time. But Hearst’s publications aren’t the only ones with overly restrictive usage terms. U-T San Diego and the Miami Herald have similar policies. Even NPR is guilty, saying teenagers can’t access their “services” (including the site, NPR podcasts and the media player) without a permission slip:

“If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you may browse the NPR Services or register for email newsletters or other features of the NPR Services (excluding the NPR Community) with the consent of your parent(s) or guardian(s), so long as you do not submit any User Materials.”

Some sites must have recognized the problem and crafted their policies to only forbid users under the age of 13.  These include the New York Times, the Boston Globe, and the Arizona Republic.NBCNews.com uses this wording:

“By using or attempting to use the Site or Services, you certify that you are at least 13 years of age or other required greater age for certain features and meet any other eligibility and residency requirements of the Site.”

This means that inquisitive 12-year-olds who visit NBCNews.com to learn about current events would be, by default, misrepresenting their ages. That’s criminal by DOJ standards and would be explicitly illegal under the House Judiciary Committee’s proposal.

We’d like to say that we’re being facetious, but, unfortunately, the Justice Department has already demonstrated its willingness to pursue CFAA to absurd extremes. Luckily, the Ninth Circuit rejected the government’s arguments, concluding that, under such an ruling, millions of unsuspecting citizens would suddenly find themselves on the wrong side of the law. As Judge Alex Kozinski so aptly wrote: “Under the government’s proposed interpretation of the CFAA…describing yourself as ‘tall, dark and handsome,’ when you’re actually short and homely, will earn you a handsome orange jumpsuit.”

And it’s no excuse to say that the vast majority of these cases will never be prosecuted. As the Ninth Circuit explained, “Ubiquitous, seldom-prosecuted crimes invite arbitrary and discriminatory enforcement.” Instead of pursuing only suspects of actual crimes, it opens the door for prosecutors to go after people because the government doesn’t like them.

Unfortunately, there’s no sign the Justice Department has given up on this interpretation outside the Ninth and Fourth Circuits, which is why the Professor Tim Wu in the New Yorker recently called the CFAA “the most outrageous criminal law you’ve never heard of.”

The potential criminalization of terms of service is a prime reason that Congress needs to overhaul CFAA and it’s certainly why the House Judiciary Committee should abandon the seemingly DOJ-drafted bill it floated recently and instead sit down with Rep. Zoe Lofgren, Rep. Darrell Issa, and others to negotiate real reform.

Are you a minor with a thirst for information? You, and your parents who vote, should together tell Congress to fix CFAA.

Infowars: Kerry Says Attack On Iran “More Possible”

infowarsdotcom:

abcnews.go.com
March 5, 2013

At the end of his first overseas trip as Secretary of State, John Kerry acknowledged that despite the continued diplomacy and tough sanctions being leveled against Iran, the regime continues to get closer to possessing a nuclear weapon.

“Lines have been drawn before and they’ve been passed,” Kerry said. “That’s why the president has been so definitive this time. This is a very challenging moment with great risks and stakes for everybody because the region will be far less stable and far more threatened if Iran were to have a nuclear weapon.”

Kerry sat down with ABC News’ Martha Raddatz in Qatar as his first overseas trip as President Obama’s secretary of state wound down.
