Poor Richard's News: Gov. John Kasich caves to Obama; Ohio to participate in Obamacare's expansion of Medicare
Well, there goes any chance Gov. Kasich had of running for the Republican nomination for President in 2016.

One of the most conservative governors in the country just caved to President Barack Obama.
Gov. John Kasich of Ohio announced Monday that he’s going to expand Medicaid drastically under Obama’s health care law, the highest-profile red-state governor to agree to the new program so far.
“I, as all of you know, am not a supporter of Obamacare,” Kasich said at a Monday press conference. “But I think this makes great sense for the state of Ohio.”
Kasich says the decision will free up money to spend on mental health and other services — since the feds will pay for most of the expansion costs — and will keep everyone else’s health insurance premiums down because there won’t be so many uninsured people going to emergency rooms for their medical care.
But Obamacare opponents are calling it a betrayal. They had expected Kasich and other Republican governors to say no to Medicaid expansion, like Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Texas Gov. Rick Perry did.
It is betrayal.
Kasich’s logic is that somebody else pays for it. Pure baloney. We all pay for it, and he just bought into Obamacare’s lie.
How the GOP stole the nomination
Could it be true? Idk, could be. If so it’s just more and more proof that we’re gradually becoming a 3rd world country. Ideally it should have been Ron Paul since he’s one of the most constitutional, honest, and principled politicians we’ve ever had or maybe even Rick Perry due to his outstanding jobs record in Texas(The CNN article talks about how the job growth “doesn’t keep up with growing population levels.” Deport the illegals, close the borders, stop subsidizing people that do nothing but get high all day and pop out kids and we’d fix that in no time I guarantee you). But Mitt Romney was a really good candidate as well for the most part, mainly because of his business experience(didn’t hurt that he’s good looking either). Democrat or Republican, liberal or conservative, you ultimately should never trust your government.

Ron Paul Campaign Calls On Rest Of GOP Field To Drop Out
Rep. Ron Paul’s campaign called on the rest of the Republican field to drop out of the race and unite behind him in order to defeat Mitt Romney.
“We urge Ron Paul’s opponents who have been unsuccessfully trying to be the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney to unite by getting out of the race and uniting behind Paul’s candidacy,” campaign chair Jesse Benton said in a statement.
Tonight’s results in New Hampshire show the race for ‘conservative alternative’ to Mitt Romney remains wide open. I skipped New Hampshire and aimed my campaign right at conservative South Carolina, where we’ve been campaigning hard and receiving an enthusiastic welcome. However, The majority of polls, 5 majors state party straw polls, and the many other voter contacted sources have Ron Paul as the favorite.Even when that arrogant and useless waste of a man. Bill O’Reilly tries omitting Paul from his poll….low and behold, damn near EVERYONE voted for “Other” which strongly implies yet another Ron Paul victory! One Fox newsy even stated that Paul should be omitted from the debates because he wouldn’t support another candidate if he didn’t win the nomination…..that’s “fair and balanced” Fox. Guess what though? The voters won’t support another candidate either!
They only have to look as far as their own websites 2012 Candidate Tracker…..

He won the state of Iowa….but the media talked Cain winning the city of DeMoine. He blew the lid of off Illinois, winning more vote than all other candidates combined (LIKE ALWAYS) and they still talked about Romney getting the “in person” votes. Discrediting their own process and constituents.
