Political Crazyness

I don’t have a future, this is why.

With Obamacare and the individual mandate being upheld. I don’t have much of a future left. With the student loans I have, and can’t pay for. The no ability of getting work, do I can pay may debts.

Now were not only the mandate is a required purchase and jail-able offense with massive fines. It is now also a tax. Guess what? Now I am going to be a tax evader a another jail-able offense.

This means I am a criminal, there for I could go to jail. On top of that It will make it almost impossible to get work. I would never pass a background check. All because something I can’t offered to pay in the first place because I have no employment.

My only option at this point is suicide. I have no future, it is dead. No job, most likely ending up in jail. With a massive student debt. What do I have? Nothing!!!!!!!!!

In U.S. v. Jones, the Supreme Court has held that attaching a GPS device to a vehicle and then using the device to monitor the vehicle’s movements constitutes a search under the Fourth Amendment. What does this case mean for broader privacy protections under the Fourth Amendment? The Cato Institute’s Jim Harper and Julian Sanchez assess the ruling.

That a direct requirement for most Americans to purchase any product or service seems an intrusive exercise of legislative power surely explains why Congress has not used this authority before–but that seems to us a political judgment rather than a recognition of constitutional limitations. It certainly is an encroachment on individual liberty, but it is no more so than a command that restaurants or hotels are obliged to serve all customers regardless of race, that gravely ill individuals cannot use a substance their doctors described as the only effective palliative for excruciating pain, or that a farmer cannot grow enough wheat to support his own family.

The right to be free from federal regulation is not absolute, and yields to the imperative that Congress be free to forge national solutions to national problems, no matter how local–or seemingly passive–their individual origins,

U.S. Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit, upholding the Individual Mandate in an opinion published today.

Will not be forced to buy federally mandated healthcare

With the Washington DC district court of appeals saying it is the right of congress to legislate what your have to buy, in the case health care.

I have decided I will never do this. I will not buy this mandatory health insurance. If it means I am going to jail. So be it. I can not morally support anything of this nature. On top of all of this. Its not like I can offered it anyway. Fining again wont do any good. I can’t offered that. Like trying to get water from a stone.

I hate it when the people who are proponents of forcing everyone to buy healthcare to car insurence. That is a poor comparison. I can chose not to drive. In fact I don’t even own a car at this point in time. Healthcare on the other hand. The only way out is to commit suicide. Of course even that is against the law in a lot of states.

So police state come and get me!!!! Not like I have quality of life. They way your taking away all my liberties for the sake of the so called greater good. I am ready to be a martyr for liberty.

Racial politics return with Cain allegations

ragepolitics:

Herman Cain’s rise as a presidential contender was supposed to prove that race didn’t matter in the Republican Party. Cain is fast making it the only thing that does.

The black conservative is trying to navigate around allegations that he sexually harassed at least three women, implying that the accusations surfaced because he is black. Hours after the claims were reported, Cain’s supporters branded his trouble a “high-tech lynching.” That’s the term coined 20 years ago by another black conservative, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, after his confirmation hearings for the court were rocked by allegations of sexual harassment.

The Government’s War on Cameras!

Uploaded by ReasonTV on May 26, 2011

Who will watch the watchers? In a world of ubiquitous, hand-held digital cameras, that’s not an abstract philosophical question. Police everywhere are cracking down on citizens using cameras to capture breaking news and law enforcement in action.

In 2009, police arrested blogger and freelance photographer Antonio Musumeci on the steps of a New York federal courthouse. His alleged crime? Unauthorized photography on federal property.

Police cuffed and arrested Musumeci, ultimately issuing him a citation. With the help of the New York Civil Liberties Union, he forced a settlement in which the federal government agreed to issue a memo acknowledging that it is totally legal to film or photograph on federal property.

Although the legal right to film on federal property now seems to be firmly established, many other questions about public photography still remain and place journalists and citizens in harm’s way. Can you record a police encounter? Can you film on city or state property? What are a photographer’s rights in so-called public spaces?

These questions will remain unanswered until a case reaches the Supreme Court, says UCLA Law Professor Eugene Volokh, founder of the popular law blog The Volokh Conspiracy. Until then, it’s up to people to know their rights and test the limits of free speech, even at the risk of harassment and arrest.

Who will watch the watchers? All of us, it turns out, but only if we’re willing to fight for our rights.

Produced by Hawk Jensen and Zach Weissmueller. Camera by Jim Epstein and Jensen. About 7.30 minutes.
