FIB Press Conference:
“We, the secret police and our thousands of militarized auxiliaries, are wonderful. We are the best. We are brave. We are strong. We are smart. We are the many. We are the proud. We are the narcissists. We work 24/7. Just like on TV. Our motto is: Hey You, Protect Us, Serve Us. Let’s slap each other’s backs! Again! We failed to prevent the bombing, with our vast spending and spying, of course, but at least we accomplished our real objective: weakening the people, empowering the police state.
“With our control of the media and thousands of armored occupiers, we closed down Belmont, Boston, Cambridge, and Watertown. We ordered everyone to stay in their homes. Need food? Medicine? To walk the dog? Tough luck. We closed all businesses, schools, universities. This is unique in American history, and so we have set the precedent for the future. Civil liberties? Property rights? The people exist to serve the government. Get your priorities straight.
“With our vast display of force, our tanks, our helicopter gunships, our infrared sensors, our night-vision goggles, we captured the final suspect…when a mere citizen tipped us off. We own the night, the ground, the air! And no Miranda warnings, in a public safety exemption. As to the first suspect, we may tell you something, or we may not. That goes for this whole business, and all future activities, for we are the FIB. And don’t doubt us. Do not have any competing theories or questions. There’s a public safety exemption for that, too.”
'...Our persisting fascination with the pursuit and capture of alleged criminals is increasingly unsettling as it has evolved from chase to hunt. Just as wide-eyed onlookers watched Simpson's SUV race by, crowds erupted in cheer as a limp and wounded Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was arrested.'
Urban manhunts have captivated cities and provided fodder for a frenzied 24-hour media. But at what cost?

Infowars: Children who watch more TV are more likely to grow into sociopaths
David Gutierrez
Natural News
Feb 22, 2013The more TV a person watches during childhood, the more likely they are to become a sociopath as an adult, according to a study conducted by researchers from the University of Otago in New Zealand and published in the journal Pediatrics.
Notably, the study ruled out the possibility that it is preexisting, antisocial tendencies that cause children to watch more television. Instead, what they found was that early television watching was correlated with the later development of antisocial behaviors.
“Children who watch violent TV behave in a violent way afterwards and people who watch a lot of TV are more likely to have bad behavior later in life,” said researchers.
Researchers followed approximately 1,000 children who had been born in 1972 or 1973 in the city of Dunedin, New Zealand. Starting at age five, the children were interviewed about their television watching habits every two years. The researchers then compared this information to records of the participants’ criminal convictions between the ages of 17 and 26. Violent convictions, including “aggravated robbery, manslaughter, assault with intent to injure, rape, using an attack dog on a person, and disorderly behavior likely to cause violence,” were noted separately.
The researchers also analyzed the prevalence of aggressive behavior, antisocial personality disorder and negative emotions among the same participants between the ages of 21 and 26.
Antisocial personality disorder, more commonly known as “sociopathy” or “psychopathy,” is a condition characterized by an inability to empathize with others and is strongly associated with antisocial and criminal behaviors including compulsive lying, theft, property destruction and violence.
Unrelated to other risk factors
The researchers found that people who watched more TV as children were also more likely to be convicted of a crime as young adults. In fact, for every hour of TV that a child watched on an average week night, their risk of conviction increased by 30 percent. The link found between violent criminal convictions and TV viewing disappeared; however, after researchers adjusted for potential confounding factors.
Even after adjusting for factors such as socioeconomic status, a childhood history of aggression or antisocial behavior, or parenting factors, the researchers found a strong association between childhood TV viewing and an adult diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder. They also found a connection between TV viewing and more negative emotions and aggressive personality traits.
That is, the findings cannot be explained by antisocial children watching more TV and also growing into antisocial adults.
“Rather, children who watched a lot of television were likely to go on to manifest antisocial behavior and personality traits,” researcher Lindsay Robertson said.
Although the reasons that TV viewing might contribute to antisocial personality disorder remain unclear – more for an overabundance of potential explanations than for too few – the researchers said that one thing is clear: reducing childhood TV viewing would almost certainly be beneficial.
“Antisocial behavior is a major problem for society,” researcher Bob Hancox said. “While we’re not saying that television causes all antisocial behavior, our findings do suggest that reducing TV viewing could go some way towards reducing rates of antisocial behavior in society.”

Infowars: Cuomo Announces Plans To Modify Gun Control Law To Exempt Film Industry
newyork.cbslocal.com
February 28, 2013Just a month after Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the strictest gun control law in the country, state officials plan to make some exemptions.
The law toughened restrictions on military-style rifles and high-capacity semiautomatic handguns, but those restrictions will be changed so those types of weapons can be used on the sets of television shows and movies being shot in New York.
“We spend a lot of money in the state bringing movie production here, post production here. So obviously we would want to facilitate that,” Cuomo said.
“Global warming” is the cause of the high murder rate in Chicago.
Former Representative Dennis Kucinich will debut on "The O'Reilly Factor" tomorrow night. More Info:
Former Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich has signed on as a regular contributor to Fox News Channel.
The former Ohio congressman unsuccessfully ran for president in 2004 and 2008, and recently ended his congressional career. Fox said Wednesday that Kucinich will make his debut in his new role on “The O’Reilly Factor” on Thursday night.
We don’t know about you guys, but we definitely didn’t see this coming. Think adding Kucinich as a regulator contributor will do anything to change Fox News’ pro-Republican reputation?
Prominent Public Figures Warn About Mass Murder Pills
For the first time ever, and for a brief moment in time, two knowledgeable and highly credentialed public figures have commented on the fact that psychiatric medications cause violence and must be considered suspect in the case of the Newtown shooter. But then, as if it never happened, and as if psychiatric drugs could not possibly be implicated in violence, the issue was dropped by the media.
Fortunately I happened to be watching television on both CNN and Fox Cable News shortly after the Newton tragedy and I have put the TV clips onto YouTube.
The most striking commentary came from Sanjay Gupta, neurosurgeon and famous chief medical correspondent on CNN. On December 18, 2012 at approximately 5:25 p.m. on CNN, he offered the following remarks:
We still don’t know much about the shooter who lived in this home. But there is something else to consider: What medications if any he was on? I’m specifically talking about antidepressants. If you look at the studies of other shootings like this that have happened, medications like this were a common factor. Now I want to be clear I’m not saying that antidepressants can’t be effective. But people seem to agree that there is a vulnerable time. When someone starts these medications and when someone stops could lead to increased impulsivity and decreased judgment, and making someone out of touch. None of this is an excuse and it’s never just one thing. None of these behaviors will fully predict or explain why. But soon again there will be hindsight that might just help prevent another tragedy. It’s worth pointing out over a seven-year period there were 11,000 episodes of violence related to drug side effects. If there was a death involved, often it was the individual of himself or herself, a suicide.
Gupta doesn’t say where he got the figure of 11,000 drug-induced cases of violence. However, that exact unconfirmed estimate has circulated on the Internet in regard to violence reports to the FDA.

Nigel Farage on council racism towards forster family and UKIP (24Nov12) (by liarpoliticians)
Yup, if you have the wrong political views you can’t have kids. How much longer before this spreads to childbirth? The next question, when will this spread to us here in the USA? This is big goverment and big brother at work.
This is causing universities to rethink their value to students,” says Professor Koller, who is from Stanford University’s computer science department. The most prestigious universities are always going to have enough demand for places - but the emergence of high-quality online courses could be tougher for middle-ranking institutions. Why would you pay high fees to sit through a mediocre lecture, when you could go online and watch world experts at another university, even if it’s in another country? “The universities in the middle will really have to think about their proposition,” she says.

Michael Coren with Jessie Sansone: Arrested over a picture of a gun (by SDAMatt2a)
Four months after arresting and strip-searching a man because his four-year-old daughter drew a picture of him shooting monsters and bad guys, police in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont., have apologized to the young family.
In their internal review of 26-year-old Jessie Sansone’s arrest, Waterloo Regional Police said they did everything right — except their method of search.
“The results of this review have determined that Waterloo Regional Police officers acted in accordance with the law by arresting Mr. Sansone and made every effort to preserve his dignity and the safety of this community,” said Chief Matt Torigian.
“However, the review also found that due to a miscommunication in the processing of Mr. Sansone, he was subjected to a Thorough Search instead of a less intrusive Frisk Search— an oversight which we regret.”
Torigan said he and Deputy Chief Thomlison met with, and personally apologized to, Sansone for the impact his arrest had on his family.
Sansone, however, said sorry’s not enough.
“I am a forgiving person, but this isn’t just about me. It’s not just my own family. This was a whole system that crashed down on us, and it was all because of a four-year-old’s drawing,” he said. “They could have just talked with me instead. This can’t be allowed to happen to my neighbour, to another family.”
In February, the father of four was met at his children’s school by police officers, who arrested him for possession of a firearm.
He was taken to the station in handcuffs and strip-searched while his home was searched and his pregnant wife was questioned. His children were picked up at the school by social workers and taken across town for questioning.
Cops stripped Sansone naked and had him lift his testicles so officers could see under them, turn around, and bend over.
All of this started when his daughter Nevaeh, in junior kindergarten, drew a picture of her dad shooting bad guys on a classroom white board.
The ensuing conversation between the teacher and the tot lead the teacher to believe there was a handgun within reach of the children at home.
The school called family services who, in turn, called police.
Police found nothing in the home other than an empty plastic gun sold at Canadian Tire for $16. The toy was meant to propel peppercorn-sized plastic beads — something the family never had in the house.
“Although not crucial at the time of the arrest, the Air Soft Pistol that was located has the capability to fire a projectile at approximately 180 feet per second and if pointed at someone may constitute a criminal offence and could most certainly cause injury if used carelessly,” reads the police report.
Neither the school nor family services have apologized. The school board maintained it had the children’s welfare in mind because school officials “co-parent” students.
The family is trying to retain a lawyer.
Sansone will speak with Michael Coren on Sun News Network on Thursday in his first TV interview since his arrest.
