‘Sandy Bill’ Becomes Mini Auto Bailout
The legislation to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy has been turned into something of a mini auto bailout, according to those familiar with the Obama administration’s request. The request includes millions of dollars worth of cars, to be paid for by the federal government.
“The Federal Reserve is responsible for the boom-bust cycles. It’s responsible for price inflation, recession, depression, and excessive debt. Although the central bank can get away with mismanagement of the economy for long periods of time, its policies are always destructive. Unchecked, the policies of a central bank lead to financial chaos, an example of which we are now experiencing.” - Ron Paul

The Federal Reserve’s Emergence as the U.S. Economy’s Central Planner
![]()

VERY interesting essay by Dr Jeffrey Rogers Hummel of the Independence Institute which outlines the radical changes Bernanke has instituted during his tenure at the Federal Reserve. Rapidly but clearly surveying the Feds actions since Bernanke assumed control in 2006, Dr Hummel shows how the Fed transitioned from Greenspan’s Friedman-like policy of liquidity injections to targeted bailouts of specific firms with ‘sterilized’ funds.
The near-term implications appear to be that the general expectations of massive inflation are overstated. The long term implications are the possibility of a highly politicized Fed which uses monetary policy to choose specific winners and losers in the marketplace. Per Hummel:
In the final analysis, central banking has become the new central planning. Under the old central planning—which performed so poorly in the Soviet Union, Communist China, and other command economies—the government attempted to manage production and the supply of goods and services. Under the new central planning, the Fed attempts to manage the financial system as well as the supply and allocation of credit.
If you are at all concerned about the actions of the Fed—or doubt the need for a full audit—it is well worth your time. You can read the full essay here.
I was called sheep for supporting Ron Paul

I was called sheep for supporting Ron Paul to day on Twitter, by a Herman Cain supporter no less. What amuses me. This person supports a candidate who would support the status quo in big goverment and the Federal Reserve. Both entaties that force people into being sheep.
The last time I checked. Big government is the ultimate form Sheep-ism. Let the goverment take care of you. Tell you what to do. How to wipe your butt. Pass laws saying your to dumb to take care of your self and others.
Ron Paul on the other hand. Believes in your personnel right to manage your own life with out a helicopter goverment hovering over you. Ready to tell you what you can and can not do with your self and your family.
If I am sheep. Then why are you the Herman Cain supporter. Supporting a system that forces the population into being sheep? If you know a better liberty minded candidate, then Ron Paul. I am all ears. Some how I don’t think your going have any luck in this area. I am a goat all the way!

G. Edward Griffin - The Collectivist Conspiracy.
Source:
Uploaded by whahappa on Apr 20, 2011
In this exclusive 80 minute video interview, legendary conspiracy author G. Edward Griffin explains how his research, which spans no less than 5 decades, has revealed a banking elite obsessed with enforcing a world government under a collectivist model that will crush individualism and eventually institute martial law as a response to the inevitable backlash that will be generated as a result of a fundamental re-shaping of society.
Griffin discusses the similarities between the extreme left and the extreme right in the false political paradigm and how this highlights a recurring theme - collectivism. Collectivism is the opposite of individualism and believes that the interests of the individual must be sacrificed for the greater good of the greater number, explains Griffin, uniting the doctrines of communism and fascism. Both the Republican and Democrat parties in the United States are committed to advancing collectivism and this is why the same policies are followed no matter who is voted in to the White House.
“All collectivist systems eventually deteriorate into a police state because that’s the only way you can hold it together,” warns Griffin.
Carroll Quigley, Georgetown University Professor and mentor to former president Bill Clinton, explained in his books Tragedy and Hope and The Anglo-American Establishment, how the elite maintained a silent dictatorship while fooling people into thinking they had political freedom, by creating squabbles between the two parties in terms of slogans and leadership, while all the time controlling both from the top down and pursuing the same agenda. Griffin documents how the Tea Party, after its beginnings as a grass roots movement, was later hijacked by the Republicans through the likes of Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck.
Pointing out how Republicans and Democrats agree on the most important topics, such as US foreign policy, endless wars in the Middle East, and the dominance of the private banking system over the economy, Griffin lays out how the left-right hoax is used to steer the destiny of America.
Griffin also talks at length on a myriad of other important subjects, such as the move towards a Chinese-style censored Internet, the demonization of the John Birch Society as a racist extremist group, the Hegelian dialectic, the power of tax-exempt foundations and the Council on Foreign Relations, the movement towards world government, and the question of whether the elite are really worried about the growing awareness of their agenda amongst Americans.

50 State Press: Bill Gross: Why Lenders Aren't Lending

He says that the Fed’s conditional freeze on rates for…
Gibson Guitar Corp. Responds to Federal Raid
Henry Juszkiewicz, Chairman and CEO of Gibson Guitar Corp., has responded to the August 24 raid of Gibson facilities in Nashville and Memphis by the Federal Government. In a press release, Juszkiewicz said: “Gibson is innocent and will fight to protect its rights. Gibson has complied with foreign laws and believes it is innocent of ANY wrong doing. We will fight aggressively to prove our innocence.”
The raids forced Gibson to cease manufacturing operations and send workers home for the day while armed agents executed the search warrants. “Agents seized wood that was Forest Stewardship Council controlled,” Juszkiewicz said. “Gibson has a long history of supporting sustainable and responsible sources of wood and has worked diligently with entities such as the Rainforest Alliance and Greenpeace to secure FSC-certified supplies. The wood seized on August 24 satisfied FSC standards.”
Juszkiewicz believes that the Justice Department is bullying Gibson without filing charges.
“The Federal Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. has suggested that the use of wood from India that is not finished by Indian workers is illegal, not because of U.S. law, but because it is the Justice Department’s interpretation of a law in India. (If the same wood from the same tree was finished by Indian workers, the material would be legal.) This action was taken without the support and consent of the government in India.”
Kindly F*** off, Fed. Raids, without warrants? A precise notion our delightful Founders warned about.
